Time for Yourself
Perhaps, like many people, you have just returned from vacation feeling relaxed and happy. You are doing well and you have done what you enjoy. How much time do you take just for yourself in everyday life and do what brings you joy and gives you energy? I prefer to spend time for myself in nature, reading, listening to music, calling or meeting a friend, doing something in the garden, listening to a meditation, enjoying a short nap or going out to the pasture and spending time with the horses.
It's a wonderful feeling to take this time for myself every day. I feel more balanced, grounded and enjoy an inner peace, which of course those around me and those I interact with also notice.
I realize that when I take this time for myself every day, everything else I do has a different quality.
It is your life, make sure it brings you joy each day.
