At first I had the idea of giving coaching as a gift, only to realize that I should give it to myself. I got to know Marina at an “Evening in the Herd”. “A Voice for Horses”! The title alone tells you that this magazine offers a perspective that is very different from the usual one. It is not about the horse as a means of transport, a racehorse, a working animal, or a leisure horse that we ride from time to time. For thousands of years, horses have served us.
Now, however, a new time has come—one in which we must give horses what they truly need, and one in which we are privileged to learn from them. They are wise teachers, and Marina Parris gives them a voice. She also gives us humans a voice, and for that I thank her from the bottom of my heart for this immensely valuable and important work.
