A Turning Point in my Life
Since more than 15 years I am living my calling with people and horses.
My Path into the Horse World
I grew up in California, went to university (MBA) and then worked for international companies. In this time I accompanied people through change processes before horses came into my life.
I was 35 at the time. I spent a month working on a farm with disabled children and horses. What I observed there in the interaction between the horses and these children touched me deeply. This experience was the turning point in my life.
I later spent three years in jeans and cowboy boots in order to live with and learn about horses. I lived on ranches in France, Montana and Colorado. After this time, I returned to Switzerland from Montana with a black Quarter Horse called Hummer.
Life on these ranches, the training of young horses, and great horsemen such as Ray Hunt Bill and Tom Dorrance had a strong influence in how I interact with horses. I learned to see the world through the eyes of a horse.

Eponaquest and Wild Horses
When I will still in Montana, I discovered a book from Linda Kohanov, a pioneer in equine-facilitated learning in the U.S. What I read in her book inspired me so much that I went to her place in Arizona in 2010 and 2011 to complete my apprenticeship to become an Eponaquest Instructor.
I also did further training with Linda attending her workshops on the «Power of the Herd» and «Sentient Communication», followed by the «Master Herder Apprenticeship – Socially Intelligent Leadership».
In Switzerland, I furthered my education as a certified equine behavior specialist to complement my experiential knowledge with a scientific understanding of horses. Later, I visited the wild horses in Bosnia-Herzegovina twice to observe and learn about horse behavior.

Wisdom of the Horses
I am deeply grateful for my wonderful horses, Hummer and Riverdance, who have been my greatest teachers and trusted companions in life.
My wish is that more and more people recognise the potential that horses have to help humans transform and heal. When we give horses a voice, learn to listen and integrate their wisdom into our own lives, it will help move humanity into a new direction.
In order to share my experience with horses with more people, I have written two books two books and created the online magazine A Voice for Horses in 2023.

My Teachers and Friends
Hummer “Black Diamond”
Hummer is a very wise and confident soul. Our journey together began in 2004 in Montana on a ranch where I was training young horses. During this time, I developed such a wonderful relationship with him that I brought him to Switzerland Easter 2006.
He is my greatest teacher and has helped me develop as a person (and still does), and I am very grateful to him for that. Over the many years, he has also accompanied countless people in their personal and leadership development.
Since October 2024, he has been enjoying his retirement as a big thank you for the many years as a loyal companion/co-trainer, always by my side. Occasionally he enjoys being part of a coaching, and there he requires true connection and congruence.

Riverdance
Riverdance is a highly sensitive and very self-confident mare - and a true "lady".
Thanks to her beauty, she gets away with a lot. Riverdance demands very clear communication and requires your full attention. If your thoughts wander, she does the same. Then the connection is lost, and she finds something better to do with her time on.
Riverdance enjoys being with kids. She was a dream to ride, and I could usually guide her using only my thoughts, visualization and breathing. Now we communicate in the same way when we go for walks.

Saifur
Saifur was an older stallion who enjoyed his retirement. He loved getting attention, especially from kids when they brushed him and took him out for walks and grazing. He really lit up then. In July 2025, Saifur peacefully transitioned to horse heaven at the age of 30. He was a wonderful and loyal soul.

Redondo
Redondo was a true gentleman as a stallion. I adopted him together with Saifur in August 2020. Redondo worked with a few clients before he unexpectedly passed away three months later.

Ribana
I adopted Ribana together with a friend of mine when her owner passed away. She was an older horse and we enjoyed a few wonderful years together.
